About Jay Black
Jay has worked extensively as a club comedian as well as appearing everywhere from Atlantic City (The Tropicana) to Las Vegas (The Tropicana, MGM Grand, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club) to Los Angeles (The Improv, The Laugh Factory). Throughout his career, Jay has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy including Christopher Titus, Greg Fitzsimmons, Bobcat Goldthwait, Emo Phillips, Pete Holmes, and Sinbad. Jay currently is touring Funny Bones and Improvs as Kevin Nealon's opener and has performed nationally at over 700 colleges. In 2009, Campus Activities Magazine named Jay College Comic of the Year, in 2013, APCA named Jay College Comic of the Year, and All Around College Performer of the Year, and in 2014, APCA named Jay College Comic of the Year once again. Recently, Jay starred alongside Scott Wolf in a movie he co-wrote “After I’m Gone,” that is set to premier in February.
